Noida/Greater Noida: Only half of the private schools in
GB Nagar district have complied with the additional chief secretary’s directions to upload revised fee structures for the past four years – from 2015-16 till now – on their websites.
According to the education department, 65 schools out of the total 125 private schools in Noida have not disclosed their revised fees for the previous four years.
Amity International School Noida, Apeejay International School Greater Noida, Sapphire International School Noida, Ryan International Noida and Greater Noida branches, DPS Greater Noida, Cambridge Greater Noida, among others, are part of these 65 schools that are yet to upload the fee details.
However, it has been 10 days since the notice was sent out.
With complaints from the parents flowing in, the education department is sending them reminders to upload the revised fee structures of all the four years.
“Schools such as DPS Greater Noida, Amity International School Noida, Apeejay International School Greater Noida, Indus Valley Public School Noida, Sapphire International Noida, etc have not uploaded their revised fee structures on their websites. Others like Ryan International Noida and Greater Noida, Cambridge Greater Noida, have simply put the revised fee structures of the current or the previous year, leaving out the fee structures for 2015-16 and 2016-17,” an official told TOI.
When contacted, principal of Ryan International Noida, Sumita Mukherjee, said the technicians had uploaded the revised fee structure of 2018-19 on the website of Ryan Noida Extension branch by mistake. “The matter will be fixed soon,” she said.
Amity Noida principal Renu Singh said that they are in the process of uploading the details.
