Teacher slaps, kicks 12-year-old boy in class

SURAT: A 12-year-old boy was slapped and kicked mercilessly by his teacher in front of the entire class in Little Star school in Udhna Wednesday morning. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral of the social media following which the male teacher identified as Jigar sir became untraceable.

The incident came to light when the boy informed his parents about the bashing by the teacher after returning home. Parents of the boy rushed to the school and demanded strict action against the teacher.

Parents also called the police to the school.

In the video shows the male teacher is holding the boy from the collar and in front of other. The teachers after asking something starts slapping the student. He slaps him over a dozen times before kicking his twice. When the traumatised students tried to move away, the teacher agains stated slapping him.

The video shows the teacher issuing threats to the student who is seen apologizing.

Police said that the parents have not registered complaint so far. “Out role begins only after the parents lodge complaint,” said a police officer at Udhna police station.
