Vadodara: A day after two student groups came at loggerheads at M S University’s Faculty of Commerce, the university’s vigilance staff and Sayajigunj police came across a couple of rods, sticks with metal caps and
pipes that were kept below the historic dome of university’s Faculty of Arts.
University’s vigilance staff along with Sayajigunj police had started combing in the arts faculty premises after receiving a tip off that some student group had hidden some material to attack their rivals inside the campus.
The combing on Wednesday afternoon, followed the scuffle that the parking lot of Faculty of Commerce had witnessed between a students group belonging to commerce faculty and another infamously known as ‘Gumbaj’ group of arts faculty over an trivial issue.
Sources suggest that the members of the vigilance staff and police team had reached the arts faculty premises at 3.30 pm. Later, the material that was found below the dome, was handed over to Sayajigunj police.tnn
