These photographs show the horror of the Aberystwyth hotel fire that broke out in the early hours of this morning.
They show the Ty Belgrave hotel totally consumed by flames as fire crews battle to bring the blaze under control.
A number of guests were led to safety when the building was evacuated.
Nine people were taken to hospital from the scene, on Marine Terrace in the seaside resort.

Ty Belgrave describes itself as a 'boutique hotel with stunning sea views'.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "At approximately 02:21 this morning (25/07/18), Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a fire at Belgrave Hotel, Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth.
"Attending crews were met with a well developed fire and rescued nine adults and three children from the affected property. Five persons have been taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution. At present one person remains unaccounted for."
