Maratha reservation protests LIVE updates: Maratha Kranti Morcha activists set a truck ablaze in Aurangabad


The Maratha community is back on roads for their pending reservation issue. Today, several Maratha organisations have called for a bandh in state after a man demanding reservation committed suicide in Aurangabad district. All roads and highways in Aurangabad district and other parts of the Marathwada region have been blockaded by Morcha activists.

Recently, angry locals prevent Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire from attending last rites of Kakasaheb Shinde, who jumped off a bridge over Godavari river, on Tuesday during agitation. Khaire taken out of the cremation ground under police cordon. Locals warn leaders against taking political mileage of Shinde’s death.
