Bhopal: LoP Ajay Singh complaints against children’s presence in CM’s yatra

Bhopal: Leader of opposition Ajay Singh has written to the state Human Right’s Commission and state child rights protection commission on Monday highlighting the violation of High Court’s directions which prohibits mobilisation of children for political functions in the state.

He said that the HC had already instructed that no children shall be brought for any political meeting. In his letter LoP claimed that schoolchildren were brought to the CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s jan ashirwad yatra in Satna on July 18.

He alleged that the officials concerned closed the schools to ensure the presence of students in yatra programme. He blamed the erring officials to force the students to stand for long hours on the road side to welcome yatra in Maihar. He alleged the children were similarly mobilised for the yatra in Indore and in Chhindwara. He demanded that a case should be filed against the CM and the district administration of Satna for violating the HC’s order.
