Police found spray paint damage on New England Pizza, Stop N Save Food Mart, Competitive Food Mart and Ruggles Park.

FALL RIVER - Police arrested three men on Sunday for allegedly tagging three buildings and Ruggles Park.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police officers responded to a complaint that three men were tagging buildings at the corner of Robeson and Locust streets. Fall River police officers Joseph Kubicek and Edmond Desmarais arrived at the scene and arrested the suspects as they fled, with the assistance of officers Timothy Magan and Nicholas Hoar, according to court documents.

Police seized spray paint cans and three markers as evidence, and later found spray paint damage on New England Pizza, Stop N Save Food Mart, Competitive Food Mart and Ruggles Park, according to court documents.

One suspect denied being involved even though he had blue paint on his hands, according to court documents.

Arrested were: Anthony Garcia-Telado, 19, of 101 Annella Road in Brockton; Michael Peace Jr., 19, of 24 Cedar St. in Fall River; and Randall Wilkinson, 48, of 29 Goddard Road in Brockton.

The three men were each charged with four counts of vandalism, four counts of tagging by paint and trespassing. They were each released on personal recognizance after being arraigned Monday in Fall River District Court. They are scheduled to return to court for pretrial hearings on Aug. 14.
