"Cause of death, in this case, is shocked as a result of anti-mortem injuries sustained over body mentioned in PMR," the report, which was released by the medical board comprising of Rajiv Gupta, SMU, Amit Mittal (MD Medicine) and Sanjay Gupta from the surgery department which examined the body.

The police have arrested three people suspected to be involved in the attack on Khan. Under fire for a delay in taking the deceased to the hospital, the Rajasthan Police set up a four-member committee to probe the allegations. The panel ordered the suspension of the then assistant sub-inspector posted at the Ramgarh police station, Mohan Singh, and transferred three others to police lines.

The action was taken after a video purportedly showing ASI Singh admitting to his "mistake" went viral.

The committee will also probe whether Khan became a victim of police beating on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, as the row over Rakbar’s lynching grew bigger, there were a slew of shocking statements from BJP leaders of all hues from around the country.

Escalating the row over the Alwar incident, Rajasthan minister Jaswant Yadav asked Muslims to stop the cow smuggling business, saying it "boils the blood of the Hindus". He also asked the Muslims to understand the sentiments of the Hindus.

A BJP MLA from Telangana, T Raja Singh Lodh, who represents Goshamahal in Hyderabad, said incidents of lynching will not stop until cow gets the status of 'Rashtra Mata'(mother of the nation).
