Frivolous indulgence

Sir — Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to mimic actor Sanjay Dutt and Priya Varrier with his ‘hug’ to the Prime Minister and a ‘wink’ to his party colleagues in Parliament was not only a flop show but also in poor taste. It was unbecoming for a leader of a major political party.

Parliament is no place for jadoo ki jhappi. Issues  that are discussed in Parliament are serious in nature and such an occasion  did not merit  frivolous indulgence by the leader of Opposition.
