Inter School Cross Country tomorrow

Pune: Students from the seventy schools will be seen in action during the Captain Shivrampant Damle Memorial trophy Inter School Cross Country run on Wednesday.

The Cross Country run is organised by Maharashtra Mandal’s Seth Dagaduram Katariya English Medium High School.

Around 1,000 students have already registered for the event. The run will start from Maharashtra Mandal, Mukuand Nagar, at 7:30 am.The event will take place in two groups — Pune city and Pune rural. Run will take place in Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 categories for boys and girls respectively. Total prize money for the event is Rs 50,000.

The run will be conducted in 3 km, 2 km and 1 km respectively. Interested runners can contact Harshal Nikam — 9923182171. 

During last seven years, the event has received a good response from the schools.  The event is also applauded by parents.
