Shares of L&T Technology Services today surged over 11 per cent after the company reported Rs 197 crore net profit for the June quarter, which is double the profit it had reported in the same period last fiscal year.
The stock soared 11.16 per cent to end at Rs 1,452.30 on the BSE. Intra-day, it zoomed 13.65 per cent to Rs 1,485.
At the NSE, shares of the company jumped 10.80 per cent to close at Rs 1,448.90.
The company's market valuation rose by Rs 1,494.27 crore to Rs 14,880.27 crore.
The L&T group company reported a 40 per cent rise in revenue to Rs 1,152 crore in the reporting quarter.
Managing director and chief executive Keshab Panda said the company is on track to achieve the 16 per cent revenue growth guidance for the fiscal.
