The first look of Samantha Akkineni from the film U Turn, unveiled on social media over the weekend, drew attention. The remake of the hit Kannada film is a mystery thriller starring Samantha as an investigative journalist, along with Rahul Ravindran, Aadhi Pinisetty and Bhumika Chawla in key roles.
Directed by Pawan Kumar, the film has music by Poorna Chandra Tejaswi and cinematography by Niketh Bommi. U Turn is scheduled to release on September 13.
The Kannada original, released in 2016, starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead role.
