The new Audi A1 Sportback, also dubbed the 'Supermini', is packed with the latest features and boasts impressive styling cues.

It also shares a platform with the likes of the Volkswagen Polo and Seat Ibiza - keeping things close knit and in the family.

Audi South Africa says the second-generation A1 Sportback will arrive locally during the second quarter of 2019. 

Ticking all the boxes

This is no ordinary car with a number of features that can be customised, as the new version aims to build on the success of its predecessor.

Ever since its introduction to the market 8 years ago, the model, also dubbed the 'Supermini', has been a success with well over 830 000 units sold to date.

It also comes in a range of petrol engines each producing power outputs from 70 to 146kW.
