Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) continued its drive to verify the condition of parking lots in commercial complexes in the city for the second consecutive day. The civic body also issued notices to 96 commercial complexes for violations in these spaces. Sources said that after checking over 100 commercial complexes on Monday, officials checked around 75 complexes on Tuesday. The violations that have come to light in most complexes are minor like access to the parking being blocked and material kept in parking lots. In some cases, it also came to light that small constructions had been made in the parking. The complexes where violations were found have been issued notices asking them to take care of the violations. If this does not happen, razing and encroachment removal teams of the VMC will be pressed into action.tnn
