After throwing out leaders commenting on political leaders of other parties, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati said that all websites and social media platforms in the party’s name were fake and it had nothing to do with the content posted on them.

The BSP chief appealed to the people to not get involved in these websites and social media accounts as they were not official websites of nor were the persons floating them.

Mayawati stressed that there was no separate wing for woman, student or youth and she had not authorised anyone to speak on the party’s behalf.

In a statement released in Lucknow on Monday, Mayawati made it clear that only Sudhindra Bhadauriya was the BSP spokesperson and was authorised to make statement in electronic channels. “No other person is authorised to say anything on the party’s stand in the media,” she said.

The BSP chief also said that Devashish Jararia launched a website ‘BSP Youth’, which was fake and had nothing to do with the BSP.

“This fake website is also asking youths to give money to enroll as member of the BSP which is total illegal,” The party gives almost 50 per cent representation to youths in its committees at all levels. Hence it does not feel the need to have a separate youth wing,” Mayawati explained.

Recently, the BSP chief sacked party vice-president Jai Prakash Singh for making a statement on party’s alliance strategy and commented on senior political leaders of other parties. Jai Prakash was replaced by young Ramji Lal Gautam of Lakhimpur Kheri.
