The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed three Special Leave Petitions (Civil) seeking enhancement of the superannuation age of the employees of the RTC from 58 to 60.
After the final hearing, the apex court upheld the stand taken by the management.
The RTC Board had on June 19 decided not to increase the age of superannuation of the employees in view of the serious financial crisis and also because of the high level of physical fitness required for the strenuous work in the transport field.
