HUBBALLI: The '
Chennamma Pade', a dedicated team of police to nab eve teasers, arrested nine youths, aged between 18 and 21, for allegedly harassing girl students near a school and a college under the Bendigeri police station limits on Tuesday.
The accused have been identified as Aman Khaji, Imam Ghadawake, Ghouse Nadaf, Tousif Halabhavi, Mainuddin Nadaf, Syed Tandur, Mehboob Bepari, Jakir Hussain Shaikh and Salman Mulla.
The accused were allegedly harassing girls near Nehru College and RK Patil School. The police team was in civil dress to arrest the accused.
A case has been filed at Bendigeri police station against all the accused.
