Elucidating on the importance of maintaining a health lifestyle, augmented by physical fitness and personal discipline, personnel of the Special Protection Force (SPF), took out a massive cycle rally in the temple city of Tirupati, here on Sunday morning. The contingent of 74 personnel, led by SPF Tirupati Commandant B.V. Rami Reddy and SPF Core Team, commenced their rally at 5.15 am from the local Municipal Park, covering areas such as Alipiri, Chandragiri, Moolasthana Yadamma temple, Rangampet Kalyani Dam, pedalling nearly 52 kilometres before reaching Tirupati by 9.30 am. Later, Mr. Reddy outlined on the benefits of cycling and urged the personnel to maintain a health lifestyle. He also suggested the SPF Core Team to be in forefront of social activities, happening across the temple city. SPF Deputy Superintendent of Police M. Shankar Rao and other personnel took part.
