Hry to set up centre of excellence with Brazilian org to improve indigenous cattle breeds

The government has decided to establish a (CoE) at the Government Livestock Farm, Hisar, to improve the state's indigenous breeds of cattle and buffalos.

The CoE would be established on the basis of a tripartite agreement between the of Veterinary and Animal Science, Hisar, the Livestock Development Board and the (ABCZ), Uberaba, Brazil, it said.

A decision to this effect has been taken in a meeting held between Animal Husbandry and Dairying O P Dhankar and Dr of ABCZ, who called on the here today, the release said.
