ISI instructed chief justice not to release Nawaz Sharif, Maryam till elections, claims Islamabad HC Justice

In a shocking revelation, a Islamabad high court judge alleged that state spy agency Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) is intervening in the state’s affairs. He said ISI is forcing judges to get favourable judgement in different cases. He slammed the secret agency for controlling judiciary. While speaking at Rawalpindi Bar Association, Justice Shaukat Siddiqui said that ISI has approached the chief justice and instructed him to not release former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam till elections.
