Can’t make jobs regular: Telangana Transco and Genco

TS Transco and Genco chairman D Prabhakar Rao made it clear that they could not take any decision on the regularisation of artisans in the power sector, as the matter was in the court.

HYDERABAD:  TS Transco and Genco chairman and managing director D Prabhakar Rao made it clear that they could not take any decision on the regularisation of artisans in the power sector, as the matter was in the court. The artisans in power sector went on strike on Saturday demanding regularisation of their jobs. As many as 1,325 artisans participated in the strike in NPDCL on Saturday.  However, in a statement on Saturday, Prabhakar Rao said that if they took any decision would attract contempt of the case. He called upon the employees to call off their strike.
