Policeman in civil dress was opposing pick-pocket
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Chola Mandir police have nabbed three miscreants for attacking a police head constable on opposing pick-pocket in the evening on Wednesday. Police said that the victim Lalaram Kohri policemen oppose pick pockets which angered the miscreants who attacked the victim in his stomach and hands.
The victim in his complaint stated that the miscreants had tried to rob him and when he refused, they attacked him and escaped the spot. The victim was rushed to nearby hospital where his condition is reportedly stable. The nabbed miscreants were identified as Umesh Ahirwar, Anil Gaur and Halke Vishvakarma. The three hold crime record and have been booked by Chola Mandir police.
The miscreants have committed crimes in the area and nearby areas of the same nature in which if victim oppose to give away belongings miscreants would attack with sharp edged weapons.
In the initial investigation police found that Kohri had gone to Ganesh temple and was attacked by miscreants at around 10 pm while he was on his way to home.Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 307, 506, 324 and 34 of the IPC and started further investigation.
The victim is posted at DRP Nehru Nagar police lines and lives in Satyanarayan Nagar in Chola area. Police said that the victim was in civil dress at the time of the incident and after the three tried to rob him he opposed which irked the miscreants and they attacked victim. The victim is undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital where his condition is stable.
