Hry CM okays Rs 45cr for roads construction

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval for construction of nine roads amounting to Rs 45 crore in different parts of the state.

Giving details, an official spokesperson said that a sum of Rs 18.33 crore would be spent on construction of road from  Bandhwadi dumping station, Gurugram to Damdama Tourist Complex.

He said that in the first phase of Haryana Vision Zero Programme, ten districts of the state have been adopted on priority for a Vision Zero approach to road safety. 

Under this programme, the road from  Murthal Chowk, Sonipat to Agarseen Chowk would be widened and beyond this grills would be fixed on the dividing of roads at a sum of Rs 1.44 crore.

In addition, 7.10 km road from Chaura village to barsat via Gharhi Khajur in district Karnal would be strengthened at a cost of Rs 5.87 crore. In Panchkula as per CM announcement, concrete road would be constructed from Naultha Jaithal to Village Kamli (Parwanoo)  at a cost of Rs 2.22. crore.
