Man who helped Arumugam to print certificates detained

Coimbatore: The rural police on Friday detained a 50-year-old man, of Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district, who allegedly printed fake certificates on behalf of fake NDMA trainer G Arumugam. A team of police has been inquiring Yogananthan of Sivakasi to collect further information.
According to sources, Yogananthan owns a printing press at Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district. Arumugam befriended with Yoganathan and introduced himself as a trainer of NDMA. He allegedly gave some documents to Yogananthan to print at his press. Yogananthan believed Arumugam’s words and printed some certificates for him. “Fake MBA degree certificates, NDMA certificates were printed at the press. Some norms must be followed to print government related certificates. Yogananthan violated the norms and he was detained,” said a police officer.TNN
