BJP leader and former Minister Jayanarayan Mishra, who was arrested over his alleged involvement in the Banabira firing incident, walked out of the Sohela Sub-Jail in Bargarh district on Thursday.

The Orissa High Court had on July 17 granted Mishra conditional bail against two sureties of Rs  50,000. Besides, Mishra was asked by the court not to move out of station without the permission of the lower court. Notably, Mishra was arrested by police on March 15 in connection with the firing incident near Banabira village under Sohela block of Bargarh district, in which a BJD worker had died.
