Peas prices edged higher by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today due to pick up in demand from retailers.
However, other pulses held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said apart from a upsurge in demand from retailers, restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,650-3,700 and Rs 3,750-3,850 per quintal, respectively.
