Jebel Jais Flight London which provides the daredevils an exclusive way to experience the attraction that sits high in the UAE Mountains was developed in collaboration between RAK Tourism and ZipNow London.
It utilizes the latest 360 video and augmented reality technologies and sees adventure lovers don a mask before setting flight across the heart of London.
“One of our key areas of focus is growing our global reputation as the adventure tourism hub of the Middle East and we wanted to do something innovative to showcase the world’s longest zipline to thrillseekers in London,” says Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority chief executive Haitham Mattar.
“Jebel Jais Flight London, gives flyers a taste of Ras Al Khaimah flying high above our breathtaking mountain scenery and I hope it will inspire them to come and try the real thing for themselves.”
He further added that the United Kingdom was “an important and growing market … and we have significantly increased our marketing and promotional efforts to support our aim of increasing visitors from the UK to Ras Al Khaimah by 20 per cent in 2018.”
Visitors to London can go through the Jebel Jais Flight virtual reality experience until September 9.
