CHENNAI:A 45-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing groceries from a supermarket at T Nagar on Wednesday evening. Police said Amudha of Tiruvottriyur visited a supermarket at T Nagar on Wednesday. She stole grocery and while leaving the shop the staff found her moving suspiciously. They scanned the camera and found that she had indulged in stealing, police said. She was handed over to Mambalam police. Investigation revealed that she had committed the act in a few other super markets also in the last five months.
