Anthill Ventures and film actor Rana Daggubati-promoted Suresh Productions have picked six start-ups for a three-month accelerator programme at Anthill Studio.
The start-ups are Comflix, RecoSense, Woodcutter Media Technologies, NewPlus, Scapic and Saranyu. They will get mentorship and support to finetune their business models in order to scale up operations.
“We will help the selected start-ups raise investments, increase their customer base and generate more revenues. We have finalised the six start-ups from over 50 applications received from different countries,” Prasad Vanga, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anthill Ventures, said.
“After completing the maiden cohort, the studio will start another batch in the media and entertainment technology space,” Vanga said after inducting the six teams into the accelerator.
“Media like VFX that have amplified the way of storytelling has always interested us. The addition of recent technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) will help in elevating the level of entertainment,” Rana Daggubati said. Besides getting access to investors, the start-ups at the cohort will get financial support of up to $1 million through Anthill Venture Fund and investor ecosystem.
