Art for art's sake

In India, the political context in which crimes play out are always controversial. The raw and edgy (in the Indian context) original Hindi crime drama, “Sacred Games” on Netflix has sparked a row even as it attracts rave reviews. Fictionalised tales based on composite characters and events, however, make for gripping viewing. Political correctness be damned.
