Tom Jones' Chester gig tonight has been shelved.
The legendary Welsh singer had to pull out of the show after coming down with an illness yesterday.
Fans were left anxious after the news that he had had to postpone his Stansted Park gig - due to take place last night - broke on Wednesday.
And today, despite thousands of fans' fingers being crossed and his management initially saying this morning that the 'Sex Bomb' singer would still be able to perform at the Racecourse - the news came that tonight's gig is off.
A spokesman for the singer's management said that his condition is being "well managed" and they are hoping for a "speedy recovery".
The highly-anticipated gig has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 12, with full refunds issued for those who cannot attend the new date.
