She has earlier held position of senior marketing information officer and will step into the role of the Stella Lucas who passed away last April.CEO Tuamoto while announcing her appointment said that she will promoted during a critical juncture in the national tourist office’s history after the launch of the new ‘Solomon Is’ branding along with new international marketing direction.
Fiona will be stepping up and is the right person for the role. Tuamoto was confident that her involvement and direction in Tourism Solomon’s marketing and other related activities in the Australian market will be achieving a maximum impact in their key business area.
Teama is a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the South Pacific and is also a Fellow of the prestigious US State Department-sponsored Pacific Islands Professional Fellows Program.
In 2015 she has joined the national tourist office as a trainee and recently she was responsible for managing all aspects of the NTO’s key dive portfolio.
