A day before the no-confidence motion in the parliament, the Congress received a major jolt as former Finance Minister P Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram has been named in a fresh charge-sheet relating to Aircel Maxis case.

P Chidambaram has been listed as a co-accused in the supplementary charge sheet filed in Aircel Maxis case and his son Karti Chidambaram was already an accused in the case. 

CBI today filed a fresh charge sheet in Aircel Maxis case in Delhi's Patiala House Court. 

CBI also named two government officials in the chargesheet. These two officials have been chaged with 'Abuse of Power'. 

Patiala House Court is to take cognizance of the matter on July 31.
