Karnataka PU board goes digital with DigiLocker

BENGALURU: Going digital, the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka has incorporated DigiLocker facility for students from this year onwards to access their second PU marks card.

DigiLocker, a government of India cloud platform for issuance and verification of documents and certificates that allows users to store and access electronic versions of their certificates.

Students who passed Second PUC in March 2018 can make use of the facility. "The software was developed by National Informatics Centre. The service aims towards reducing the need to carry physical documents, and is part of the government's Digital India initiative. No cost is incurred by the department," said C Shika, Director, DPUE.
