Donated Rs 60 thousand for 600 plants
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Shashi Jain, IAS of 1968 batch planted the Banyan sapling and donated rupees 60 thousands to Gram Van Samiti of Amrawat to maintain 600 plants in Laharpur Ecological Park.
On this occasion female members of epic group has also planted the saplings. It is noted that 1968 batch of IAS officers are celebrating their golden jubilee this year.
IAS Shashi Jain is already a social worker and on the occasion golden jubilee she is more actively engaged in social activities with her group. She had worked in Gwalior, Bilaspur, Mandla, Hoshangabad, Vallabh Bhavan, in different ministries in Government, DDA, and Special Commissioner of MP Govt. in New Delhi etc. During this program Conservator of Forest of Bhopal Dr. SP Tiwari and other staff of forest division were also present.
