Bangladesh citizen arrested for fraud

The city police have arrested a Bangladeshi citizen Saheedul Sheikh along with his relative involved in duping a person Rs five lakh. Acting on a case of cheating and forgery registered with Sakchi police station on July 14, a special team of Jamshedpur Police arrested him along with Sheikh Firdaus.

The money and mobile, SIM cards have been recovered from them. Saheedul Sheikh who reached Jamshedpur by train from 26 Pargana district via Seialdah was staying with his relative Sheikh Firdaus residing at Telco. He along with his relative Sheikh Firdaus called a person a resident of Dhatkidih and promised to pay in dollars in return of five lakh rupees. 

Sheikh Firdaus helped Bangladeshi citizen in the fraud. The victim was called near Sakchi mosque and he gave five lakh cash and in return received a red bag containing one dollar above five bundles while the whole bundle was a fake rest of bundle was made from paper.

Arrested Sahidul Sheikh is basically a resident of Bangladesh. While his relative is living in Jamshedpur, Sheikh Firdous has been living in Jamshedpur since last few years. But basically he is also from Bangladesh.

SSP Anoop Birthrey said they have arrested both the accused and will probe them to gather more information. The accused have accepted their involvement in the case.
