HYDERABAD: Crime investigation department officials, who are probing the TS EAMCET -II medical examination question paper leak case, are likely to take action against certain employees working in corporate colleges in the city for their alleged involvement in the crime.

This follows questioning of Sri Chaitanya college former dean Vasu Babu and agent Venkata Ramana Rao during their police custody. The investigators are understood to have obtained crucial information and some more persons associated with the corporate colleges are said to have been involved in the scam.

As many as 91 persons have been arrested so far in the case. Sources said they have obtained leads about some more persons who directly and indirectly indulged by organising special camps with the students at different places by providing training with leaked question papers. For this purpose, the suspects have collected huge amounts of money from the parents of students who wanted to secure good ranks in the EAMCET held in 2016.
