Injambakkam, Porur to have power cut

Power supply will be suspended in Injambakkam and Porur from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday with TANGEDCO taking up maintenance activities, said a press release.

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in Injambakkam and Porur from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday with TANGEDCO taking up maintenance activities, said a press release.

In Injambakkam, Bharathi Avenue, ECR Injambakkam to Akkarai, Sea Cliff, KK Salai, Copper Beach, Dr Nanjundaro salai, VOC Street, Ambedkar Street, Harichandra Street, Olive beach, Bethel Nagar, KB Nagar, Cholamandaladevinagar, Kakkan Street, Panaiyur, NRI Layout, VGP Layout, Seashore Town, Jugu Beach, Panaiyur Kuppam, Nainar Kuppam, Uthandi, Vettuvankeni ECR main road, Teachers Colony, Raja Nagar, Blue Beach Road, Mariakkayarnagar, Periya Neelankarai Kuppam, Karpaga Vinayagar Nagar, and Ramalinga Nagar, will have the scheduled power cut.

In Porur, Lakshmi Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar Extn, New Colony, Mount-Poonthamallee Road, Chinna Porur, Senthil Nagar, Sri Venkata Subramani Nagar (SVS Nagar), and Ashta Lakshmi Nagar will have a power cut, the release said. However, power may be resumed before 4 pm if the maintenance works are completed ahead of schedule, the release added.
