Punjab Government bans entry of two officers to Secretariat. The Punjab Government has banned the entry of two officers. It has been directed to the CISF, who monitors the security arrangement of Secretariat, not to allow these two officers to enter in the building. From the each entry point of the Secretariat front, back, Haryana side, posters with photo of both officers have been pasted on the walls, near the gate and security check points.Among two, one is Jaspal Singh, personal secretary, Punjab civil secretariat, Chandigarh, who has been suspended under section of 7 of Service act. He was suspended on July 12 and was told to work Industry and commerce department, sector 17, Chandigarh under the Under Secretary.It was found his role and involvement in anti-government activities. Another officer is retired Joint Secretary Darshan Singh Longia, who had declared to sit on dharna before the office of Chief Secretary in Civil Secretariat, few days ago.
