Big relief for heavy electricity bill debtors

The Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana is proving beneficial to give relief to those beneficiaries, who used to feel pinch to pay electricity bills more than their economic condition. Arrears of electricity bill of Rani Valmik of Datia town had become Rs 4 lakh approximately.

Electricity bill waiver certificate has been received by her recently from the Minister for Public Relations Narottam Mishra.

Ashok Vidyarthi, Omprakash Prajapati, Laxmi Narayan Kushwaha and Babulal Prajapti all from Datia got rid of huge electricity bills of Rs 1.41 lakh, Rs 1.15 lakh, Rs 1.05 lakh and Rs 90,000 respectively under the yojana.

Electricity bills worth about Rs 112 crore are being waived off in Datia district itself. Contentment can be worth seen from the faces of all these beneficiaries.
