While meeting media in Tondirapet, RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran said that it was AIADMK that distributed Rs 20 notes to people in RK Nagar constituency at the time of the by-election and his party.
He mentioned the above statement after he was stopped from entering Tondirapet to distribute tailoring machines as part of welfare scheme.
People raised slogans against the rebel leader, pelted stones and showed Rs 20 notes while protesting to stop him from entering the constituency.
