Humid day in Delhi

It was a humid day in the national capital even as a few areas here witnessed brief spells of rain.

"The maximum temperature settled at 37.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum temperature was recorded 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal," a MeT official said.

The humidity levels oscillated between 84 and 59 per cent. The Palam observatory recorded 0.8 mm of rainfall.

The weatherman has predicted light showers for tomorrow morning.

"Skies will remain generally cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 37 degrees Celsius," an official of the department said.

Yesterday, the humidity level had risen to 95 per cent in Delhi. The maximum temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius.
