No tuition fee for children under Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan

Any kind of tuition fee will not be charged from children of the beneficiaries of the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana to pursue studies in schools and colleges. Fee will be returned immediately to those children, who have already deposited the fee.

The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers while reviewing the Yojana at Mantralaya today. He said that clear directives should be issued to schools and colleges to avoid confusion at all level.

Chouhan also told to initiate recruitment process immediately in the Education Department for regular teachers. It was informed in the meeting that all the formalities will be completed in connection to the recruitment process of regular teachers by August 15.

Chouhan stated that the Sambal Yojana has become support for poor. He gave instructions for registration of beneficiaries, to remove technical obstacles and payment of benefits without delay. Chouhan instructed to organize training session of Sambal Assistants to avoid wandering around of beneficiaries at any level and to enable them to get guidance easily.

Chief Secretary BP Singh and Principal Secretaries of the concerned Departments were present in the meeting.
