Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya may not have factored in a World Cup celebrations when they were planning their Paris holiday but France’s win over Croatia at the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday has come as a manna from heaven. Aishwarya shared photos of the celebrations on Paris streets as France emerged the World Cup champions. And Aaradhya’s surprise at the celebrations is visible in the photos.

Sharing the picture, the actor simply used a few emojis but we got the sentiment. In it, we see a fresh as mint Aishwarya looking at the camera while in the background we see people celebrating France’s 4-2 victory over Croatia at the World Cup final on Sunday. In another picture, Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya feature together with the same backdrop.

Aishwarya and Aaradhya are holidaying in Paris after the actor finished her work assignments in the city.

Aishwarya and Aaradhya have been stationed at the French capital for more than a week now. While the actor is there to attend to her commitment to an international watch brand that she endorses, Aaradhya has been her mother’s travel companion.

Aishwarya has been sharing pictures from Paris on her Instagram account in liberal measure. While she is a star alright, it is her little girl, Aaradhya who had been charming viewers as well. Also accompanying Aishwarya is her mother, Vrinda Rai. Aishwarya often shares pictures of the three generations of the Rais and has done so in this trip too. The loving moments between Aishwarya and Aaradhya, like the one from Disneyland in the city, have been a big hit online.

The actor’s pictures from the advertisement shoots for the watch brand too, have been stunning with her monochrome style, accentuating her diva status. Meanwhile, much of Bachchan Khandan, including Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek, Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta and her two kids -- Navya Naveli and Agastya -- have made St Petersburg their base for the last few days to catch some of most thrilling matches of the just-concluded football world cup. On the work front, Aishwarya will soon begin promoting her new film, Fanney Khan (with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao) on her return from Paris. The film, as we know, is a remake of a Dutch film.

Fanney Khan is Atul Manjerekar’s debut film as a director and releases on August 3.
