In view of coming Lok Sabha and State Vidhan Sabha elections hectic parleys are going on in India for political alignments and fronts in India. But Madhya Pradesh is untouched by it as it has developed two party system between two all India level political parties the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party and in Opposition the Congress.
There is no regional party here. The BSP and SP are just name sake parties getting few 4 – 5 seats.Congress after remaining in powers for 10 years in two term lost power to the BJP which is in power for the last three term of total 15 years.
This time the ruling BJP is aspiring for the 4th term and Congress has shown determination to fight for victory and coming back to power.
The crushing defeat of BJP in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha bye-election of Gorakhpur and Phulpur seat vacated by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Mr.Keshav Prasad Maura has made the party cautious that in the election nothing can be taken for granted and in high hopes.
The Party President Mr.Amit Shah has launched the Party’s Jan Ashirwad (Public Blessing) Yatra from Ujjain and the Chief Minister Mr.Shivraj Singh is leading it. The Congress also gearing for a determined fight this time.
