Tirupur: A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death and his body was found on a railway track near Vanjipalayam in the city on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Pramod Manchil of Bihar. “He was working in a cement hollow block brick making unit in Vanjipalayam. He went out to a shop during work. Some miscreants stabbed him to death while returning from shop,” a police officer said. Anupparpalayam police sent the body to the Tirupur Government Hospital for postmortem. They have registered a case and detained three people including Pramod’s friends in connection with the case. TNN
