HYDERABAD: A day after an audio clip purportedly containing a conversation between Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of a minister and Tandur Inspector Janardhan Reddy regarding an alleged land dispute went viral on social networking sites, the Minister’s OSD Veera Reddy Sunday lodged a complaint with Saifabad police alleging that inspector threatened him in connection with the issue.

According to police, Janardhan Reddy’s sister Sirisha possessed land at Dharmaram in Karimnagar district and some political leaders allegedly occupied the land and created fake documents of the same.

After the audio clip went viral, the OSD lodged a complaint e stating that the inspector threatened him in connection with the alleged land dispute.  The Saifabad police received a complaint on Sunday. S Venkat Reddy, Inspector Saifabad said, “The complaint is being forwarded for legal opinion. Based on that and further court orders, we will proceed.” However, no case was registered.
