Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel said that we will have to make efforts with people’s support and sensitivity to save the environment and nature from pollution.
Looking at the changes in the weather, we are concerned about what will happen to the world after 100 years. Therefore, planting saplings and saving water is the need of the hour today.
Unless we do not plant saplings, we will not be able to find a solution to this problem. Due to dearth of trees and green cover colourful birds have started becoming extinct.
We shall have to start making efforts now itself to save the coming generations from these problems. Governor Smt. Patel was addressing the 29th Foundation Day ceremony of Jan Parishad Sanstha here today.
She felicitated litterateurs, social workers, journalists and artistes with shawl and citations on behalf of the Sanstha at the programme.
Governor Smt. Patel said that the litterateurs, social workers and experts should take the resolve to spread the message of morality, patriotism and national awakening in every corner of the world.
She gave a suggestion that women are moving fast ahead these days and must extend full support to them so as to boost their self-confidence.When women move forward, the country will also move forward.
Governor Smt. Patel released the book “Itihas punah punah” during the programme. At the outset, the Sanstha President and former Director General of Police N.K. Tripathi welcomed the guests.
Director General of Police Rishi Kumar Shukla, Sanstha Vice-President and Director General of Police (Homeguard) Mahan Bharat Sagar, D.P. Khanna, former Major General P.N. Tripathi, Anil Saxena, G.P Shrivastava and Sanjeev Shrivastava and elite citizens were present at the ceremony.
