Huawei Nova 3 expected to launch in India on July 26, will be Amazon Exclusive

The Huawei Nova 3 features four camera sensors all in all, and an India-first GPU Turbo technology by Huawei. The Nova 3 could be joined by a toned-down Nova 3i.

128GB storage? Yes, please.

What we know so far about the specs remains the same. The display will be a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD unit with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a notch on the top. Its chipset is a Kirin 970 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz for performance tasks and another four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8GHz for low-power tasks. RAM should be a plentiful 6GB and storage, as mentioned before, a good 128GB. The GPU on this seems special: it will be a Mali-G72 MP12, a GPU that’s supposedly the first in India to feature Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology, which will help the GPU speed up for better gaming performance.

The dual-camera setup on the back of the Huawei Nova 3 will be a 16-megapixel sensor combined with a 24-megapixel secondary sensor for portrait photos. The setup on the front is also dual: it will be a 24-megapixel sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with face unlock capability. The battery will be a 3,750mAh unit, and the phone will support Huawei’s Super Charge technology. The phone is expected to come with Android 8.1 Oreo running out-of-the-box while using Huawei’s proprietary EMUI 8.2 for user interface.

Reports say that the Huawei Nova 3 will be joined by Nova 3i, a watered-down version of the Nova 3. It is expected to feature the new Kirin 710 chipset and be available in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is also expected to come with a 16-megapixel sensor combined with a 2-megapixel sensor on the back and a 24-megapixel sensor combined with a 2-megapixel sensor on the front. The Nova 3i is also said to feature a 3,340mAh battery. Come July 26, we’ll know if all we expect and know about the new Huawei is accurate.
