Talk on role of youth in development at SVL

A young speaker Juniyali Malkoti said, “Young people need to put their energy in nation building activities”.

He was addressing at the Pre-Conclave Talk held at Swami Vivekananda Library here on Sunday. In order to ensure the role of youth in the direction of development of society, environment and the nation and to develop creative and contemplative ability the pre-conclave talk was organised.

It was jointly organised by Swami Vivekananda Library and Pragya Pravah on the topic ‘the role of youth in the ideological stream of the nation’. Notably, five young speakers were selected for the pre conclave talk who shared their views. Young speaker Kushagra said, “In today's era, we have gone astray, we need to understand this disorientation on the basis of conceptual maturity. We need to develop our fundamental abilities to be such youth who are not job seekers but job creators.” Sunil Kumar Sahu, student of Makhanlal Chaturvedi University of Mass Communication and Journalism said, “Today’s media is misleading us, so we need to be aware that the ideological stream is important.” In the end, Sunil said that ‘the country gives us everything; we should also learn to give something back to it’. Hamidia College student Surendra Singh said that the nation is a doctrine and language, culture, society and art are its parts. “Today more than twenty languages ??of the country are on the verge of extinction. We have forgotten our writers today. We do not want to read Premchand, Nirala and Indian literature, classical music pleases its audience.” It is known that through online emails, these top five youngsters were selected from more than 100 entries. In the programme, Chief Speaker Deepak Sharma, Chief of Pragya Pravah and Chairman of IES Group Mr. BS Yadav and former Bg R Vinayak were present. Over 100 participants participated in the pre conclave talk. It was organised as a pre event of Young Thinkers Conclave to be held at Rajiv Gandhi Technology University on August 11-12.
